Historical Background:
Two Antonov An-12 transport aircraft were delivered to the Czechoslovak Air Force in 1964. Following the division of Czechoslovakia in 1993, the air force's assets were split between the newly formed Czech Republic and Slovakia. The aircraft with serial number 2105 was retained by the Czech Air Force, while 2209 was assigned to the Slovak Air Force.
