Historical Background:
The Antonov An-12B with registration UR-CJN was manufactured in November 1971 and initially delivered to Aeroflot as CCCP-11116. Throughout its operational life, the aircraft served various operators, including Baikal Airlines, Aerofreight, Tesis Aviation Enterprise, Bright Aviation Services (as LZ-BRV), Air Highnesses (as EK-12006), and Congo Airways. In July 2011, it was registered as UR-CJN under Aero Charter Ukraine and subsequently transferred to Cavok Air in 2012. Under Cavok Air, UR-CJN has been active on cargo routes across Europe and Africa, with documented operations in countries such as Germany, Hungary, Luxembourg, and Mali. As of December 2021, the aircraft has been stored at Bila Tserkva airfield near Kyiv.
